when in the menu it keeps popping up. "keyboard and mouse detected". over and over. but never switched over to keyboard. I don't even have a controller. I did buy a PC game after all.



also why is there no re-binding of the movement keys. Not everyone is a WASD player.

I have had to search the Input.setitngs file an manually. It's a long are difficult process trying to figure out what is missing.

Yea, I'm a ESDF player myself. I hate WASD. Not for me. They better have a patch soon.

Booted up the game, all ready to go, and what the HELL!? No bindable movement keys. I am an ESDF player, always have been, always will be. Looks like they are too lazy to make bindable keys. I've read elsewhere there's problems with reconfiguring some keys because they are hard coded. Either get a refund, find and tinker with the config files, use a third party program that does the job they should have, or add it to the stack of unplayable games.

Lol. I have never heard of anyone using ESDF. How strange. Couldn't you just slide your hand over a little and pretend?

Also I don't think this really qualifies as something refund worthy. Wait for a mod or just grow a pair and play through it. Bunch of whiners ...

Omfg, to be honest, they way the keybinding is handled is super primitive. I am left handed and use numpad for movement, but ofc that is not possible in this game.

Controls make or break a game.

Plenty of people use ESDF, it's definitely not unheard or or strange. If the key bindings were adequate I'd ask you to simply slide your hand over and use ESDF. You'd probably find you are used to WASD and your muscle memory would be messing you up when using ESDF, especially when it comes to pressing other keys in tandem.

I my self prefer WASD, but the lack of key binding was a bit concerning. I wanted to change some keys around my self.

I agree though, it's not worth a refund, but it should be fixed.

Totally agree with you and the odd things is was that I was expecting a very tailored PC experience coming from CD Project. I get that pop up message as well stating that my mouse and keyboard were detected but when I look at the control schematic in the menu it's an Xbox controller, there's not keyboard callouts/image :(

Lol, you give left handed people a bad name by implying we aren't capable of evolving to using wasd and mouse on the right.

The controls in this game feel like it was coded mainly to use a controller and the mouse/keyboard combo was rushed together last minute like it is with ohh so many games that are made for both PC and Console.
I wouldn´t go so far as to say unplayable but it is weird and unfamiliar.

Lol don't complain, at least you get to play. For us with an AZERTY keyboard it's impossible, the game seems to be hardcoded for QWERTY. Bought the game for PC and I have to play with a pad, and I hate pads !

ESDF puts your hand in the homekey position for typing on the keyboard. Using ESDF you can easily play and type in the dark. You can also hotkey half or more of your keyboard and use it with ease if you type.

Going back to WASD after being used to typing and ESDF is like playing pc games on a gamepad with your feet...

Aside from the m/; keys for the map et z/w for target lock, I've had no problem whatsoever playing since this morning. ZSQD is working properly instead of WASD and my keyboard is also azerty. i'm playing in english and another player told me he was also using ZSQD and he was playing in french.
