need help with a bug I dont know what to do to correct it. during the cut seen with Keira and Geralt talking after she gets out of the bath my game drops to desktop and game continues to run and I can hear it but cannot switch back into game, it stays in desktop mode. Anyone have any ideas that can help me?

Hey guys! Yes this bug still has not been patched. All you need to do is turn off all the settings under post-processing. It's a weird glitch to do with the cut-scene.

i've tried what you suggested but it doesn't work for me.
Our do i have to change settings during the cutscene?
It's quite fustrating that i can't go on anymore.

I got lucky with mine, I temperarily disabled my nvidia control panel and my avg anti virus and tthe game played without any problems. good luck and thanks to all who helped.

I haven't experienced this bug, but what about switching to windowed mode for this sequence? Just a random idea if the above fix didn't help.

Sorry for the late reply. But if you're still stuck try locking fps to 30 fps in the graphics settings along with every post processing effect checked off.

I got stuck there, too. Ver 1.06 with DLC.

I decided to switch to full screen (which probably wasn´t necessary) and when the dialogue started I pressed space to skip the buggy section. Could continue afterwards with no problem.

edit:
Replayed the sequence.Space alone does not help, it has to be full screen.

did you try to switch the game into fullscreen? solved the very few issues I had
