Is anybody having the same issue when you want to compare a peice of equipment a merchant has to your equipment you can no longer pull up the mini comparison of stats. It still lets me compare equipment on my side of the barter window as well as when looking at my inventory by itself.

Same here. Kind of seems like something tat would be noticed in testing, but here's hoping a fix is incoming. Luckily its most important when dealing with a blacksmith or armorer. So what I do is look at a peice of their gear then go to the repair section (as usually everything loses a couple of percent after a few fights) or remove upgrade section (since all my equipment has runestones or glyphs) to see what my equipment's stats are. This way i don't have to go out of the conversation for every peice I want to compare.

Good tip. One of the biggest PITA from W2 was not being able to see what was for sale and what I already had in inventory in the same dialog.
