Is there a difference between food?

They just cost different, but I only see differences in regeneration times.

Can someone confirm:

I assume that the lower regeneration time the better. right?
So based on that, as long as its 5sec its all the same, right?

Thanks

I don't know actually, but a nice tip to know is that you can mix drinks with food and have 2 regeneration buffs at the same time... Just in case you didn't know.

This is a SPOILER,if you go too deep.

I think the difference is also in regeneration speed... however, regarding regeneration time, it's not true that the shorter the better: in fact it's the opposite, meaning that a higher regeneration time allows your health to regenerate longer thus you regenerate more health in 25 seconds than in 10.

This is for Witcher 2
Yes, if you consume a beer for example, you get drunk! I'm not joking. There is a effect in the screen. I realized this last night.

I don't like that so much... it's hard to believe that a person that has undergone severe mutations drinking God knows what kind of potions gets drunk on ONE beer.
In The Witcher 1 and The Witcher 2 it took much more to get drunk...

On the other hand, Geralt recovers in mere minutes.

If you didn't the effect of it was much stronger in the first Witcher. Here it's like Geralt gets drunk a bit but for a short moment.

I don't like it either. The blur is annoying.
I've found meat to be the most effective, though I haven't measured it. Water regenerates for like 20 seconds but it's REALLY slow, so it doesn't help you nearly as much as grilled pork or chicken leg does in 5 or 10 seconds. Major flaw in their item descriptions, IMO, they should be telling you how much vitality it regenerates, not the duration of the buff.

Drinks are used to regenerate your energy not health that is why. However i would suggest to you people not bother with food from the moment you will start brew potions.
