Hello everyone. I recently bought the GOTY version of The Witcher 3 and after playing over 30 hours (and absolutely loving it!), I tried installing just one mod, the "Unlimited Durability" mod. I created a "Mods" folder inside the main game installation folder, but started getting script errors.

I tried using the unification patch, but it always failed, only when I completely remove the mods folder, does the game launch again. This is the error that I get with the mod.

Error [content0]game\gui\menus\menubase.ws(30): Enum 'ENotificationType' already defined.
Error [content0]game\gui\hud\modules\hud.ws(6): Class 'CR4Hud' was already exported.
Error [content0]game\gui\hud\modules\hud.ws(21): Class 'CR4ScriptedHud' already defined.
Error [content0]game\gui\menus\menubase.ws(36): Class 'CR4MenuBase' already defined.
Error [content0]game\gui\popups\popupbase.ws(10): Class 'CR4PopupBase' already defined.


I made sure to install the version of the mod that is for "1.30+", I assume all earlier versions will not work. As I mentioned in the subject, I have version 1.32, and obviously, it's the GOG version. Thanks in advance.

It is up to the mod author to bring their mod up to date with current patches. This has nothing to do with the game. Contact the mod author.

I tried other mods, removing the other ones so as to not create any conflicts, I still get the same error, I'm going to try to verify files through gog and see what happens, thanks.

ignore what shitory says and try to verify game files like you said, if mod is for 1.30+ it should work np with unification patch, also install script merger and run it to see if you have conflicting scripts, this should help you the most the script merger.

I returned to version 1.31 using the GOG settings. Most mods work in this version of the game. 1.32 does not add anything to the game but only improves the Chinese translation.

Yeah, thanks for the reply. I found out I have to do a rollback to get everything working, and that 1.32 only adds chinese support. Will do the rollback later and check, thanks.

last I checked I was not, hence I can check gog forums maybe twice monthly, I see hickory posting and giving shity advices to players, coincidence... I think not.

After all my post was 90% trying to help this guy, and 10% pointing out hickory has nothing to do with witcher 3, now carry on, see ya next time.
