L1Slayer: Hi everyone and sorry if there is already an answer for my question but I couldn't find anything about this specific case.
I played The Witcher 2 on its insane difficulty which renders your savegame useless if you delete or reinstall the game.
So my question now is: Can I use my "dead" insane Savegame or do I have to do a new run with a lower difficult?

I've no savegame left - how much of this can be "reworked" to go around the defaults?

I'm a big fan of Mass Effect and Dragon Age decisions taking over in the different games... but for Witcher I've nothing left (never got through the games complete) and would still like to get different ways instead of only have "default" for my playthroughs (intend to play the game 2-3 times)... I hate it when the "background" is always the same :)

TBreaker20: Why would you use a savedata from a walktrough that is not completed? You will be left with a lot of default decisions. You should use a savedata from a complete walktrough, or not importing a savedata at all.

L1Slayer: Why shouldn't they not be completed? As I recall you can't save after the credits have rolled, so my savegames are right before the Endboss wich should be the last chance to save. Or am I missing something here?

TBreaker20: No, you can't save MANUALLY after the credits have rolled, but you have an autosave. If you load that autosave, you'll only see Dandelion's epilogue, the credits and the cinematic showing nilfgardian armies crossing the yaruga.
