Just bought the game and it has been mind blowing, until this frustratingly irritating bug:

After donning the new outfit and speaking with the Chamberlain in "Imperial Meeting" quest, it says to follow the Chamberlain but he just stands there. I imagine he's supposed to walk out the door to the next location but doesn't. I have tried everything that I know of to get this to move along but nothing I have tried works.

There is no "actionable" notifications and no keyboard commands work to make the Chamberlain move from his spot.

I suspect this is a strange bug. ...unless I am missing something.

If I remember this right, then Geralt and the chamberlain are standing on very different spots. Move towards the man, and he will start walking, so you can follow.

I have the same problem with the german edition. Currently rolling back to 1.08 with gog client. Takes a long time ... :-(

Same Problem. I have finished the game previously. Started a new game with the new patch and have this issue. Also have tried reloading and starting from way earlier in my save.

It seems it has something to do with broken/corrupted downloads.... Well that's what they say on the CDPR forum. You have to use the Galaxy client to verify/repair the game files..

I cannot say if it will work, because I have no save file for this part (I have an lot, but just not this moment in time). But it's worth an try I guess..

I have the same bug, but the verify/repair function does not help. I still no able to continue the quest Imperial Meeting. Any Solutions?

Found a solution for me. My normal game setting include 3 displays. so i tired to load the game with one display and suddenly the guy starts to walk. Hope this will help someone else ;)
