I'm having the exact same problem at the moment. Very annoying. Hopefully a verification will fix it.

Hi .Says to me not authorized to verify anything . I believe i have done everything to get this to verify but obviously no , cause it won't.. this is my first posting of stuff and i have been gaming for over 50 years single player only so i know crap about fixing problems like this so be gentle .

This means that there are some problems with the GOG servers (e.g. high traffic). just try it again later. If the problem isn't fixed soon write to GOG support:

I have the same exact problem I've made the repair from gog galaxy
but it says that no changes are made to the game!

I am blocked in front of the Chamberlain with no option...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

FINALLY A SOLUTION!!!!!

I had the same problem, tried the verify/repair solution.. no luck

HOWEVER... I found a fix on some youtube video that WORKED for me... and i'm not sure why this works and hope it does not cause problems later in game... I will probably restore this file or verify again after completing this quest...

go to your game folder... find 'content>patch0>bundles>patch.bundle' file (on my system it was the only file in the directory) ... BACK IT UP JUST IN CASE VIA COPY OR OTHER METHOD!

and DELETE IT (from the bundles folder)...

I had a patch1 folder also but I left that file alone just fyi.. and still worked... so patch0 only worked for me

I reloaded the game and glitch gone... xD... I just hope removing that file wont cause futher problems down the line..

Thank ppeck84 for your kindness but I resolve sending my saved game (in front of a immobile chamberlain) to my friend and magically when he load my saved file the chamberlain starts to walk.... then he saves again after the conversation with the Emperor (that I made by phone ahahahah) and send me back the file ....and now I can go ahead

I cant undestand why but much more I cant undestand how cd project can accept to dishonor this masterpiece with this kind of huge bug

The game is fantastic but there are a lot of little and huge bugs here and there

But naturally there are other more important problems in the world.... then enjoy The Witcher ;)))

I've downloaded the .1.12.1 patch and verified/ repaired the game and I can't get passed the imperial meeting bug.

some seconds after the scene with the chamberlain: Is Geralt able to proceed to the audience? (I made it for a guy in a german forum with the same problem.)

Also: If you have any mods installed try removing these. Whenever the game is patched some mods will start "causing trouble" :-)
