hey guys,

Right now, I only cleaned the whole 1st zone.
I know it's more or less like a "tutorial" zone.
But what is wrong with the money in this game ?

Everything cost so much money, and selling suck :/

How do you do guy to get more money?

I made a lot of money (relatively) early on by selling honeycombs to the herbalist west of the village. She left a notice on a tree in the village, saying that she wanted to buy honeycombs in bulk, and would give a good price. There is no conversation for it, you just have to manually sell them to her.
im about lvl 15 now and to earn money isnt sooo easy. got about 1500 then comes reps and things and its off.

Hard to gain money...very easy to lose it
You must know that you should sell things to proper guy.

Go sell swords to smith. Armors to armorer. Food to innkeeper. Herbs to herbalist etc etc.

That how you can get better money for your items.

You want to go technial hehe? It's a single-player game so it's not cheating. If you know what I mean.

I did it myself. Gave myself a hefty DLC Money of 10,000 orens but you can go as high to any amount you want.

Only if you want it though.

yea, I do. But everything has a high-price.
And when you try to sell it's 4gold...
I play this game 31h now. When i dont have money I have so many herbs and other stuff i go, sell and get what i need.

If innkeeper in first locations have Black Pearl for 800 it doesn't mean you could ever need this item. Someone who will try do 100% in this game probobly someday will buy it but casual player not.
I'm just buying what I can't loot.

> Cards
> Recipe

Stuff like that.
I think another problem is, that the merchants are out of money very fast.

Will they ever restock money? After days or weeks? The first merchant (the one with the dlc's) still has 4 gold for me. Never restocked so far. :(

The merchant with the DLC ? Where is he ?
I don't think they re-stock items/gold

He's in White Orchard, next to Woesong Bridge. He's the guy you rescue from the Griffin at the start of the game

I discovered this too. Great early way to make some money. But now for some reason, I can no longer loot the fallen beehives. I drop 'em with igni, the loot prompt appears but unable to loot from them anymore. Tried 4-5 different hives. I walk away a bit and turn around and the loot icon prompt is gone. Seems like it's bugged or something.
1. Go to the merchant at Hierarch Square in Novigrad.
2. Buy all the shells
3. Go to the armorer right next to the merchant
4. Dismantle the shells for pearls
5. Sell the pearls to the armorer until he runs out of money
6. Meditate for five days, the armorer will have some money to spend again

Rinse, repeat. Only use it if you are game for exploits.

might as well just download cheatengine if youre on PC at least...

re this this thread i havent cheated yet i just loot everything, i got saddlebags to so 90 carry weight. but now im running thin there w/ very little actual weapons just tons of other junk idk what to do w/, its not as clear if i should just sell the junk now since i might need it to craft smth idk.

but basically dont buy weapons just find & craft them, dont rly need to buy armor either, only thing you need money for is repairing and paying those kinda fees then the occasional luxury item (cool looking armor or sword). i have over 3K lvl 12 but if i cant get better saddlebags soon i might try to raise my carry weight somehow
