I manually patched my game so I should be able to roll back a patch version.
How does it work?
Do I just click on the version, redownload or something?
I'm afraid to mess up my saves so thought I'd ask first.

I'm hoping to load my save in the old patch to avoid the unwanted level gain when loading a pre-blood and wine save. After loading and saving the two saves that I want to play I'm planning on repatching to latest patch. Am I overlooking something in my plan?
Thanks in advance!

Uhhh..., you're not going to be able to do what you want. IF - you have the installation files, patch, DLC and expansion(s) of the version you want to roll back to - then you uninstall the game completely and reinstall using those files. Otherwise, GOG only keeps the most updated versions available for download.
Oomph. Like, the whole thing? That's starting to sound like a really really bad idea ;)

Thanks for explaing!

edit:
I looked at the gog-thingy and it specifically states that patching manually gives you the opportunity to rollback patches on pc?
It does mention that some savegames might be incompatible after rolling back, but I guess that would mean the saves created after the most recent patch will not be available?

Didn't realize you were using Galaxy as you said you patched Manually. Sure if you are using Galaxy, there is an option to roll back - but I can't give you info on it as I don't use it.
So far so good, rollback worked to load my saves normally.

You can just click on the version you would like to run and it will start patching as normal!

Thanks again for your time.
Good vote for galaxy:-)
rollback never worked for me (got always server errors), as soon i cliked something it started doing wierd things without even asking or informing about it. i wish there would be at least a prompt like "are you sure?" the way it works at the moment is kinda "they dont know actually about anything so dont even bother asking ..."
