Probably you're. The day-1 patch is on the game page on GOG site. Or just use this link (should be logged in).

pr0ject_hatta: I'm having that same issue.. I woke up this morning and the game still says I'm missing a piece that will release on May 19th..its 6:44am eastern time and I don't see anything else to download. Am I looking in the wrong place? Sorry new to PC gaming and never used this site.

Thiev: which version? GOG? Retail? Galaxy?
You can download the necessary patch 1.01 either from http://play.thewitcher.com/ or your GOG library and install it manually or use the Galaxy client to update the game for you.
I'm not home right now but i have the patch also installed. when i try to open the game it says i can use galaxy or manual... now i have not tried to do the galaxy as i wasnt sure what that was. is there no way to do it manually or should i just do it thru galaxy? thank you

Are you certain that you installed the Day-1 patch? if you are still getting that message it looks like it didn't install correctly.

when i ran the integrity during the download would it not have told me it was not installed right? i did it late last night. i could do it again i guess.

The patch has to be downloaded separately,either from http://play.thewitcher.com/ or from your GOG Account

ok i guess i can try it again.. i got it right from GOG.com right where all the other files were. i assumed that was it. its in the same folder as the rest of the files for the game. will using galaxy be of any help?

But did you install it separately or did you just run the main game installer?

I'm missing installer files and on required disc space I have 369.9 GB and the required is only 25.1 but it has a red exclamation point beside the 369.9 GB
It will not install any further without having the installer files and I have all 7 files downloaded but still missing the installer files???? What gives?? I don't know what I'm doing wrong---please help me

Furthermore, are you certain you're trying to install the game on the partition with sufficient space? In installation setup, there is 'Options' button in the lower left corner, you can check the installation path there.
