Hello,

It's to my understanding you can load you previous character to the new expansion. Everytime I try to start a new game plus, it restarts the main prologue for me. I'm able to load "Something else ends, but something else begins" and it immediately starts the cutscene from the opening of the game. Is there a work around to this, or am I doing something wrong? I'm only really able to start a fresh game, or load just hearts of stone with the pre-selected character. Thanks in advance!

Here's a tip: NG+ stands for New Game Plus.

You don't have to start a new.game. You load a savegame from after the epilogue for example (where Geralt is alone at Kaer Morhen), then you go to the notice board at the Seven Cats Inn, south of Novigrad, and the DLCs story begins.

That's what I did, and I'm playing Hearts of Stone fine so far.

HoS in New Game + is level 62. you have to play through the main story line and level up to 62. before tackling HoS.

you can play HoS when you're level 32 on non-NG + mode.
