I can see that the expansions added new gwent cards. For some reason all these new cards are in polish despite playing the english version. I recently verified the game due to a different bug so the game should be 100% updated and functional.

I cant find a list of the new cards via google, i can only find the old cards this way. Would love to know what the new cards do


It appears this doesnt just happen to gwent cards, a lot of the expansion stuff is in polish. Found some notes regarding a quest and those where in polish. All the things in polish have [PL] in front of them and even saw some new monsters with that [PL] in front of their name

any way to fix this? I like to actually follow the lore and story of quests. Really sucks not beeing able to understand notes/books regarding the new expansion content. Some of the gwent cards i can figure out by trial and error, but cant really do the same with all the other things that are suddenly in polish

how would i do that other than posting here? I cant even find anything via google, so the issue seems to be pretty new. Just super annoying that i am not able to understand anything from the new content

Not necessarily. It appears that your prior situation has left spurious anomalies with regard to localisation. Uninstall the game completely and re-install.

Found the solution on the steam forums, it appears that there where excess files in my patch0 folder and by deleting them the game was restored to normal.
