Are you having problems with small, artifacts?
I have a 290x and noticing this problem, its very subtle, like some flickering on the screen in certain parts,
think it has to do with the AMD driver, not a sign of defective hardware, don't know if can be fixed, I hear some people mentioning to underclock your card

exactly the same. It also only occurs sometimes. I tried to underclock. it didn't help.

now i know i'm not the only one, thank you.

AMD Driver issues. Update to a newer version (15.12 at this time) or roll-back to 15.7.1.
I have installed 15.12 and the problem seems to be solved.

thank you for your help.
bad news. 15.12 don't fix it. the changelog don't even mention the witcher 3.

Since it's these little squares my first idea would be it might be related to Anti-Aliasing.

Tried different GFX settings?

the only option is on/off. but it makes no difference the squares still there.

radeon driver AA settings don't work no matter what you set.

Downgrade to 15.7.1 or lower, if the artifacts are still there, your card may nearing it's end I'm afraid. There are other explanations, of course, but that one is the most likely.

Also, are you only having these artifacts in Witcher 3?

it's the driver. i downgrade to Catalyst 15.11.1 and no artifacts after 2 days playing.
Now the "AMD Crimson Edition 16.1" fix the problem and you can use it without annoying "artifacts".

just for the records ;)
