I don't know if this is how it's called, I mean the potion that improves the resistance to poison.
So far I've managed fine without it, but then I stumbled onto the quest to get the superior wolven gear and I've managed to get the steel sword scheme after dying twice.
This experience taught me that I need that potion, but so far I haven't found the recipe yet. Does somebody know where I can find it?

Have you tried the herbalist ouside oxenfurt?
And if you have got that specific piece of wolven armor upgrade, you should have been to skellige already.
There's a quest there to be able to buy stuff from the master herbalist/alchemist. He has a shitload of recipes.

Yes I'm in Skellige and I've completed the quest given by Gremist, but I don't remember if he had that specific recipe.

I recently discovered something interesting.

I revisited (for various reasons) a couple of Points of Interest that I had already cleared before.
In most of them the chests (the one that have a metal crisscross pattern) were lootable again, and they had recipes inside. And they were recipes I didn't have yet.
I think I'm only missing the superior northern wind bomb now.
Gotta try and see if I can find it with this method.

Use ARD to blow away gasses. Or use IGNI when there are multiple enemies in those gasses.
