madkingdom: HI guys. Im on my library, but i cannot see any title related to NEXT gen installation. I dont have the old files installed.
Is it the same one?
Cannot find nor extras or managment installaiton.
Any advice will be much appreciated!
Check the size when clicking Install. If it's under 40 GB, it's the old version.

buckybit: There is no separate entry in your GOG library.

You have to click on your Witcher 3 or Witcher 3 GOTY install icon and it will (now) install the 'enhanced', updated version.

My steam version is already downloaded and updated. On GOG update still has not started. restarted 3 times, clicking on check update option. Anybody still with the same issue?

I just uninstalled the game, rebooted GOG, and clicked install again. Seems to have the larger install downloading now. YMMV

I had no update too. To trigger it go to game settings in GOG - manage installation - configure - and here you will have option to update to 4.0 version :)

Same here. I am in the US and trying to install via GOG. But I don't see any enhanced version. The only download is 34GB. Have you had any luck yet?

Edit - I had to uninstall and reinstall GOG for it to work. Now I have 49GB download.

That did not work for me until after I removed and reinstalled GOG. I wonder if it is an issue with Windows 10 to 11 upgrades.

I had to unclick "automatically update to the newest version", there I could select version 4.00.

Mine auto started when I launched GOG but had to kill it as I'm not ready to lose mods yet. Are they not doing an offline installer this time around? That download page still shows 1.34
