My game was already updated to 1.21, I start GOG today and it's updating a 13gb patch.

Why/how would this happen?

CDPR had announced a "larger patch", but I have some doubts that it is about time, most of all: other folks would have this, too.

Same here. 13 gb 'update' , luckily I can download pretty fast but I imagine some people will be infuriated. Especially ones with limited or slow download.

Edit: It's the 1.22 patch.

OK thanks guys, I hadn't heard anything about a new patch and given the size, I assumed it was re-downloading the previous one.

What's in this new patch for it to be so big?

The free dlc and expansions have also been updated. So combined with the new patch, it equals a hefty size.

Looks like patch isn't incremental (1.21->1.22), but cumulative (v 1.10+->1.22).
For downloads from site for full game:
2 Gb - patch for main game
0.5 Gb - new version of "16 free dlc"
4.4 Gb - new version of HoS dlc
7.2 Gb - new version of BaW dlc
7.1 Gb - new version of BaW dlc langpack
Result: ~21.2 Gb download.

I was about to ask why the patch doesn't apply....now I understand as I only downloaded the 1.10 -> 2.2

:(

I just hope we won't have to dl all the game each time a new patch is released!

If you got 1.21 game version and all dlc's in that version you can download only cumulative patch 1.10->1.22, it's about 3gb. It should update all DLC you got (and lang packs if you got any).

when I try to install the patch 1.22 I have a prompt asking for Disk 1 ?

My game is on 1.21, I have all free DLCs and both expansions installed, yet Galaxy want to download another 15Gb for the new patch. Why?
