So just asking this to clarify something, is there a way to see when or if game is currently being updated? I never touched updates, galaxy did it on its own and when ever new patch came out, i launch game and it was the updated version with all the goodies, this patch is quite big, so just curious. Because i dont know if i can be playing the game, while its updating the game.

I don't think you could, the patch updates the game files so you can't use them while it's doing that.
However, in your library tab on galaxy, if you point your mouse just beneath "installed" you should be able to see the version and the changelog.

No, you cannot. You must quit the game to allow Galaxy to update it. Galaxy can download while you are playing, but not update. Same as Steam.

The files on gog.com are "packaged" differently than those on Galaxy, the download is 2gb but then the size will be 7gb as well ;)
