I've been playing the Witcher 3 for a while now and loving it. Though, I have found a glitch. Over the course of my play time, I accrued 65k crowns. It took a lot of looting and selling, but I got it. But here is where the glitch comes in. I fast traveled to Novigrad recently, and when I checked my menu, I only had 516 coins. I tried loading previous saves but my money was still gone. I know I had my 65k before I fast traveled. So the only thing I can think of is that fast traveling for some reason took away all my money. Has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes? Thanks

I remember reading that the game has a money cap of 60k. Not sure if that is confirmed or not, but would explain the disappearance of your money.
Fast travel has all sorts of side effects, best to avoid it until patched properly.

Umm... are you playing on console? Because I've never heard of a bug retro-actively affecting older save games. Generally the fix to most game-breaking glitches is to go back to an older save game and try again.
I experienced similar weirdness early in the game.. at first I thought the different regions kept a different count of money.. for example, when in Velen you have X amount of crowns, when you're in White Orchard you have Y amount of crowns.. but that's not so in reality. However, it did seem like there was money going missing but not 60k like you..
I once had over 3K, but then later had barely near 2K, and so I started getting paranoid about my wallet decreasing. There are still times when it seems my money decreases or doesn't go up, even when I skimp on repairing armor and weapons. :(
I do tend to fast travel whenever possible, so as the others mentioned, that could be it.
Do any of your old save files have the 60k?
edit:ha, just noticed the old saves comment included.

It can be only one of two things:
1.Bug.
2.The Artful Dodger.

I don't know what could be the cause, but here is a solution if you are playing in PC: Download Cheat Engine (any version) and scan for the amount of money you have at the moment. Spend some money (or sell something to earn some money, just perform an action that modifies the value) and scan again for values matching the amount of money you have. Repeat the process until the program finds only one value. When this happens, you can modifiy this value to the amount of money you want to have.

Had waaaaay more than that at one point, just under 100k. Blew it all on armour, weapons and recipies/diagrams
