Hello all!

Am just mopping up my activities on the Islands and killing the final few monsters before starting on Ugly Baby.

However, I've found a ghost in some underground Elven ruins that doesn't (at this time) appear to be connected to a quest, (though I grabbed some nice loot just inside the first room while it was away on other business!) and can't seem to kill it with my level 27 character.

I have the Prima guide and read through it to check out tactics oils and signs but there are no ghosts marked in there only the wraiths. I've tried the standard spectre oil and Yrdn but its stats don't seem to go down very fast and always at some point in the fight it does something that drains me in one go and I die! I can't seem to figure out what it is.

Any suggestions as to how to procede will be gratefully received!

If it's the one I'm thinking of then it will have its place much later in the game. Don't think of those ruins as an entrance, but an exit...

If so, then it is something you do later as part of an ongoing quest during the final wrapping up. Ignore and avoid it until then.

Which tower ruin?

If it is what I'm thinking of it isn't a werewolf. The ones that match the general description are a Katakan (vampire) and Fiend.

One is 'adjacent' to a gear quest and the other the subject of a contract.

Care to post a location?

Sorry, don't recall quite where, its a ruined trower on the edge of a lake on Skellinge is all I remember. I'm off getting the allies together for the war at Kaer Morhen now so if I get back there will let you know the map reference. Thanks everyone who responded, consider the topic closed.
