Hi. I'm trying to start my pre-load here via Galaxy, but when I go to the game and click on "install" it says (something along) "looking for file list", then throws me back to the list of games with a grey "pop-up" on the top right saying "game not supported"

What gives?

I've preordered ages ago (birthday present for my wife). I'm in Finland/EU, if the location should matter (I do NOT want localized version, if that's an option, just the regular plain English version thank you).

How can I start the pre-load?
It's a pre load, not early access. You can download the files early but can't install/play until the 19th.

Have a look at this for clarification:

So HOW do I "pre-load" then, if not clicking the Install button? There's no button titled "pre-load", separately. I just though it would work like in any other client, you click on "install" and it preloads the files, then after the release date, the installer decrypts the files and you'd be able to play. (That's how it works on Steam/Origin/etc,etc).

So if not "Install" button, HOW to preload Witcher 3 via the Galaxy client?

On the lower left corner there is a small arrow pointing down, try that.
Having the same issue. The arrow on the lower left shows a "failed" error message as well. The Galaxy client is pretty bad to be honest. Speeds are terrible and there doesn't seem to be a pause option. I have been getting a "server problem" error also.

Edit: Now it shows that the game is corrupted even though it hasn't even started the download, after verifying the installation a "game is not supported" error pops up again.

Also having the same issue here.

Coincidentally, I'm from Finland as well.

Edit: I downloaded the game straight from gog.com with my browser (from account page in 4gb chunks, as usual) and installed it to the same directory I had assigned my games to be installed to in the galaxy client, launched galaxy after that and it automatically picked it up and it now shows up as installed and ready to go at release day.

Dunno if there's going to be any further problems with the release or the day-1 patch, but so far, so good.

I have the same problem. I'm also from Finland.
Same issue, Finland also
I was having 'Server Problem' issue earlier, but now it's 'Game not supported'. Also from Finland.
Galaxy seems to be swamped currently. If you want the game installed it would be probably easiest to download the installation files manually via your browser of choice or with the downloader. Galaxy will automatically recognize the installation.

Actually, you can install the game. I already have it installed.
I don't have a solution but I can confirm that the process I followed for preloading in Galaxy was to use the "Install" button. Then it did the "checking file list" thing for a little while, then it began downloading. The download went a little slower than I would be used to with both the GoG Downloader and Steam but it got there in the end.
Many seem to be having issues with this new Galaxy product. I simply opened up my GOG account and downloaded all the parts the old fashioned way - using my browser. The time it takes will depend solely on your connection speed.
Yup galaxy is a POC at the minute, to many bugs and issues. Your better off just downloading it with the GOG Downloader and then installing it. Galaxy will pick it up straight away, so it's a stress free way of getting it :D

My apologies, I was unaware of that. Just downloading the last few parts straight off the GOG site. Not long now :)
