I bought Witcher 3 from GOG and i been tring to make it work since Thursday.
The first time it crashed was when i went to the balcony on the very first room, after that it just happend when i entered the game or on Gerald bathtub cutscene. Game vercion is 1.10 with patch.
Needless to say my computer is good enought to run it, the very litle i could play it run smoothly on High settings.
Here are my spec. just in case:

GPU: GeForce GTX 750 Ti
CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor
RAM: 12 GB
Microsoft Windows 7 and i run it on a 32" tv 1920 x 1080, 60Hz.

My Video Card drivers are up to date.
For days i dowloadad the game multiple times, even individually making sure no file is corrupted messing with it.
I try runing it with and without GOG Galaxy, i uninstaled it multiple times, renamed files, lowered the game graphic setting to the lowest and frame rate at unlimited, nothing changed. Serched around the net for hours and hours and did no good so you can imagine the state of frustration im in right now, the fact that im here posting this is proof enought of how desperate i am. This is the only game i'm having trouble with, i can run Dragon Age Inquisition and other games with no problem.

I would very much appreciate any help or guidance i could get.

Hi there.

Does the Game allways crash at exactly the same places / situations you described ?
Or could you at some point go past this 2 scenes ?
Hello hpq0235sa.

No, it is not at the same places, it happens randomly but it does constanly.
I could not get past the old witcher cutscene on the room below.
in that case you might wanna try the following as it
helped me to get the game stable after patch 1.10.
(never had any crashes in 1.08.04.)
cannot gurantee it will work but well, trying usually does not hurt :-)

rename the files "d3d11.dll" and "dxgi.dll" found in "Witcher3\bin\x64" folder to something different.
adding .bak to the filenames is what i did.
start game afterwards with the witcher3.exe found in the same folder.

as i said, i dont know if it helps you, but it did help me and a friend of mine.
if it does not work you should rename those files back to their original names.

Cheers

I did try to change those 2 files already and sadly the problem persist.
thats kinda bad. :-(

might should send in a bug report or open a support ticket.
Will do that as a last resort, but im starting to think that it is a problem on my end since i downloaded it many times and applied the patch as it should, but then again i do not experience eny problem with eny game other than this, this is so weird im out of ideas on what might be the cause of it.
Tried everything, hope runing out, i was soooo exited for playing the game. T_T
Is there seriously no one else having similar issues?

Which driver version are you using? The current nVidia WHQLs (358 branch) aren't exactly stellar, sadly.
Video Card is brand new.
Currently i have GeForce 340.52 Driver.
Date vercion is 07 / 29 / 2014.

Have you tried using a different one? For example the 355.98 version ( http://la.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/91842/la - I hope that download link works. If not, you can find the drivers easily on the nvidia page).
Its worth a try, will reply shortly after. Thank you.
