vertex: That might be correct, but since I've got multiple places where DLCs are listed, I think you're confusing something here. Of course the DLCs like Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine are integrated within the GOTY, but I'm talking about a different set of options and I think this special Galaxy Overlay setting should be present in the GOTY too - even if it's "called a DLC".
It's not really a DLC - it just uses of the DLC installation routines featured in the Galaxy Client.
As I said - you _might_ be correct, because you really got a different product - but this would be highly illogical. That's why I ask you again to do this:
1. open the Galaxy Client
2. select Witcher 3 GOTY
3. click on "More" button right next to the "Play" button
4. click on "Settings" from the opening drop down/context menu
5. look at the options.
Mine are called:
a) Updates
a.a) Install updates (automatically)
b) Game
b.a) Select Language (English)
b.b) DLCs Installed
b.b.a) Game Overlay « « « « « « « « « « « « HERE! I think you've got this too, but not those below this point..
b.b.b) Free DLC Program (16 DLC)
b.b.c) Hearts of Stone
b.b.d) Blood and Wine
GOTY or not, I'm _pretty sure_ that the "Game Overlay" option should be there for you too, because it is _optional_ with the GOG Galaxy Client and that is a marketing principle invented by GOG to _always_ have the GOG Client stuff as an _optional_ trait. Having GOTY does *not* imply using all features of the Galaxy Client - it just implies having all additional *content* included that has been released so far. Game Overlay != paid content.
//edit
Even tho enabled, Overlay ceased to work again. Kinda spasmodic -.-
I can't even get the option to enable it. I've bought and installed (from discs, my internet is really slow) the goty edition Yet, in galaxy, the settings tab has just settings regarding the updates and the game languages. Nothing about game overlay and DLCs installed (despite the fact that I can access all of them ingame)
