Geralt dying after falling 10 feet is rediculous. Can anyone MOD the Fall damage he takes in the game.

The loss when falling is indeed too high. Maybe CD can tweak it themselves.
Aye, fall damage seems crazy high
... look at your feed !

Why should the supply of whatever matter? But most likely you meant feet and this disqualifies your post entirely as helpful.

However: Maybe I take a look this weekend into the .xml files. Unfortunately the mod would be over 200MB because we can't mod single files afaik atm.

agree so much, i havent figured out any reason for this, not only the amount of dmg but that theres dmg at all a lot of times is ridiculous to me. have you seen this guy jump? he would break his ankles every time he comes back to earth if theyre as fragile as they make it seem when you drop 8 feet...
+1 two and three or any other number

Fall dmg is insanely high

Agreed. CDPR need to fix this.

I have died more times falling down a 6 foot drop than I have in combat!!!!!!

You guys do know that you can roll when you make contact with the ground, right, thus avoiding damage?
I have only died when dropping from really high up, which is to be expected ...

Its more when you go through a door and there is a drop that you don't expect, or you run through a bush and there is an insignificnt drop beyond that kills you.
Dispite Geralds fall damage problem, you can slide almost 90 degrees down for 100 meter, then fall the rest of the long way down from one of skelliges highest peaks and hit the water without any fall damage at all. Realism at it's finest :)

Yeah, we learned it, but this is one of examples of unnecessary complication of gameplay and controls. IMHO, of course.

Yeah there are some great skiing sites in Skellige. Sometimes just go climbing to find them!!!!! ;-)

Actually just remembered my favorite one. When you are hunting the Chort, (maybe it's just me) but I am yet to enter the cave via that hole without losing half my health. So I ask the monster to ignore me then meditate for an hour and then thank it for waiting and kill it!!!!

Yeah, that was a strange design decision. You would think there was a vine or something to climb down.

Hey, you're right. Monsters in this game are just downright considerate!
Davevh has it nailed.

I have gotten into the habit of pressing space everytime I jump over something, or drop down off a ledge. You minimize any damage by rolling as you drop.

Of course, that doesn't help when you roll yourself backwards off a cliff as you are dodging an attacker... can't tell you how many times I've done that!
