TW3 official soundtrack is missing tons of great music themes from the game. The game is using Wwise and there is no easy way to extract raw audio because of that. Some tools help to extract it to ogg/vorbis.

I made a script to simplify the process: https://gist.github.com/shmerl/dfbd8db87874ee4929f86fa070a80863

Resulting files are playable with mpv.

Thanks for this tool. I've always found the most beautiful pieces to be the ambient background themes. E.g. near Hierarch's Bridge in Novigrad, and especially in the Blood & Wine expansion, near the Corvo Bianco vineyard.

Do you know if the extractor can extract B&W music as well? There's a stunning orchestral/female vocalist piece in 3/4 time that plays occasionally when in the Corvo Bianco vineyard that I'm trying to get a recording of.

It should. Let me know if something is missing though. I'm not really familiar with how bundles from the expansions are organized.

In the end, I just did a phone recording from the computer's speakers of the relevant song.

In case it's still relevant, here's a link to the piece of music I was looking for.
