anyone know about my other thread. can we play this pack at end game (not needing to start NG+ yet?)
im at the quest just before starting to end the game, where it says to do all you can now, as there is no returning (its the final quest) so im not sure if I can play the pack, or have to start over!?

I don't know. But you can from images I have seen in the media, start a new game (either basic or NG+) and then pick up the quest once you reach an appropriate level (30 ish for the basic version)... load a game in progress and pick up the quest once you reach the appropriate level... or finally run it as a "standalone game" with a default Geralt and equipment.

This is only an options screen that I've seen, so I've no idea whether you can literally load a 'post ending' save or not... only a few hours left to wait though.

i read from mag review it says you dont have to restart, just go via the save provided you havent started the last quest

You don't. The *only* requirement, if it can be called that, is that it's designed for a level 30 character, and as quests in this game are next to impossible if your level is too low, or you get no XP if your level is too high, just pick a save where your character is around level 30.

ty for that , im hoping you are right, you have been in the past so

my char is lvl 36 but thats ok i just dont want to have to run a huge gambit of replaying the entire game before seeing the new content, though it might be patched day 1 -2 at this rate seeing what the new standard patch did..
luckily i wasnt effected to much by those bugs

also I have to relearn how to play witcher haha.. like been playing to much hyperdimension and fairy fencer lately

HOS downloaded and installed itself for me at 23:05. 7GB download, installs 2.5GB of game files. Off to play, though not HOS as I'm not level 30 yet.
