Hello,
I have problem with importing save from witcher 2.
I have Witcher 2 on Steam and Witcher 3 on GoG.
Game started fine, no asking about storyline before, but in inventory there was no equipment

I am confused because there was import of equipment from witcher 1 to witcher 2.

CDPR was very up front when they said that your Witcher 2 items would not transfer to Witcher 3, only the decisions you made during Witcher 2. I don't recall them ever saying they would.

Thanks.
It makes me sad, they could make it as in Witcher 2 where Raven armour was only useful on Prologue, but in first fisherman village we found better armour.
Nooooo!!! Damnit, my dark armor set! My vran armor, my elder blood set! My Addan Deith and Forgotten Vran Sword! My Dancer and Deithwen! My Raven's Armor, Aerondight, Mahakaman Rune Sihil! My blue stripes combat jacked, mage's trousers and herbalist's gloves! I had ALL those amassed in final witcher 2 saved game and was eagerly anticipating to import them in 3! Why?
Well that's bloody crap. I made sure to make the vran armour thinking I would have it in the 3rd one, just like I had a bit better weapons/armour from the first to the second. Seems kind of stupid to remove it.
Probably the item transfer was removed on the sake of console gamers. For whom save import won't work altogether. Consoles strike again... Damn.
One thing that did transfer was that gd neck tattoo. Ugh. Thought I had it removed in TW2. Gotta go play it again now.
Has anyone seen any reference on imported saves if special abilities you earned carry over?

They are not typically OP, but I have yet to find any reference at all. No on else seems to be asking the question.

Anything stat-related or character development related, never carries over. You start without perks, xp, mutagens, etc. This is because the character development and skills are totally different from one game to the other.

I hoped they would, though, i had amassed ALL 23 of them (6 are unobtainable and you have to choose "executioner" or "strong back", you cannot get both).

Real misery is that items don't transfer over. Damn that consoles

By the way they made a mistake with the tatoo importation. The witcher 3 start with Ciri and Yennefer, so some years before Witcher 2, so why in this scene Geralt would have the tatoo ?

It's may be minor but devil is in the details. I hope they'll take time to correct this thing. If not that's doesn't matter it's only a couple of minutes.

Although I'm all for details, but that particular scene was a dream, no? Those events never happened, Yennifer never been there, Geralt said it himself, so having tattoo in dream could be just fine. Although I guess it's just one character's model.
