Hey guys, is there any chance to install and use DS3 controller for this amazing game?
I'm using K+M all my gaming life, but this time the controller could be the better option, don't you think?

MaxStrauss: No.
What? The entire combat system was built for consoles. I played the entire game with m&k and it sucks so much.

What? It's absolutely ideal for KB&M-players. Good work, devs. So ergonomic.

In what way? Lock-on is finicky at best on M&K and at worst a piece of trash that hinders your actions. It was definitely a feature that was added for controllers, just like in The Witcher 2. Neither combat system was meant to be played on a M&K setup either. In the end, it doesn't really matter that much since combat has always been "meh" at best in every Witcher game, unless you use an overhaul mod to improve them.

If we talk about general movement, however, then it doesn't matter. Alternative mode for movement fixed a lot of it's inherent issues, but it still feels clunky, no matter which peripherals you use.
