okay so ive been looking all over the internet for other people who do this and i cant find ANY.
i like to dress geralt with different armour combinations and see what looks cool.

so far my favourite combo is the enhanced cat armour with the temerian gloves and occasionally the condottieres boots.

i also like to match up the mastercraft cat armour with the enhanced cat trousers and mastercrafted ursine boots and gauntlets.

the wolf school set looks better with the OotFR gauntlets since the whole red and black theme works well together.

please post some combos that you guys have done that just plain look awesome!! (ignoring stats)

AmphibiousOttsel: any tips for a person COMPLETELY new to forums?

The best tip I can give you is 'be patient'. Forums are *not* chat. You may wait minutes, hours, days, or even longer to get replies. Sometimes you won't get replies at all -- nobody who shares your interests may be viewing. Other than that, be clear and concise in your posts. Most people want to know exactly what you mean, but are put off by walls of text -- there are exceptions, of course.

If you have more than one question it is always better to ask in separate posts, but (as I already said) do *not* ask the same question multiple times, and never 'necro' -- revive -- very old threads. Start a new one instead.

Lastly, but by no means least, have fun. :)
is there a way to draw more attention to a post that is more urgent (clearly not this one this one is just for fun) like if you have a problem with like falling through the map or a quest is unsolvable?
also is there a way to ask a specific person something directly like a personal message or anything?

oh also is there a way to delete posts?

You must understand one thing: there is no such thing as "urgent" on forums. It may seem urgent to you, but this is not customer support. If you have urgent technical issues, that is where you should go. Do *not* mark posts with words such as *URGENT* or *HELP*. It appears like a demand. Forums are public (virtual) meeting places, not a personal helpline. If you have a problem, make your post crystal clear, and if somebody knows the answer, or can point you in the right direction, you can be certain that you will get an answer. The main reason for not getting answers is simply that nobody has the answer for you. There are (mostly) good people on these forums who will be only too glad to help out where they can.

To ask a person a question directly you can send a friend request and talk by chat (hover over their name and 'Start Conversation'). Note though, that this is always risky: better to have it in the public eye, lest you get very bad advice. If it's in the public eye, bad advice will always be called out.

You cannot delete posts, though you can contact a blue (a GOG employee with blue text), who may be able to help you.

Frankly, there is only one outfit I like, which is the Wolf School gear, to which end I have this mod installed, so that any gear I wear or sword I use looks like (only cosmetic) the Wolf gear.

hmm that is cool. i play on PS4 so im still waiting for sony to get the mod kits before i can mod anything. have you tried wearing the Order of the Flaming Rose gauntlets with the wolf gear? it looks rather good with all the red and black in my opinion. :o)

No, I don't like OOtFR, nor any heavy armour -- I dislike the long coats. Plus I play a sign based Witcher, so use the medium armour boost sign (Griffin).
i just meant the gauntlets alone.
wolf chest piece
wolf trousers
wolf boots
OotFR gloves

its just something i do that i think looks cool. in this post im not really paying attention to stats at all just looks.

not to meaning to annoy you or anything just clarifying what i meant

No, you're not annoying me, and I understood what you meant. It's just that, as I said, I play a sign based Witcher, and it's important that I wear all medium armour, while OotFR is heavy.
