bunsenbrenner: did you actually play the game at least once from the start to the end? Did you count the times when geralt instead on rolling away started to jump like a bunny or denied parrying for no reason? Can you imagine what this would cause on cdpr support forums?
What's the purpose of a perma death when you can easily backup your savegame folder? Deathmarch is really demanding as it is especially both expansions - a bruxa 20 levels below mine did kill me with three successive hits. In B&W I (almost) died on every first encounter with a new monster not knowing its behaviour and special attacks :(
Thanks for arguing like this, that's what I like. Some true arguments. However the truth is I just wanted to know these things. To be honest I'm kinda sad/pissed because that was the reason from turning me out of Death March, however I've turned this on at the biggest keep of bandits in expansion Blood & Wine - btw haven't died...
Just to answer you cause it's a good manner. Yes I've played the game to the end once except Blood & Wine, since start at diff blood and broken bones. I wished to play it on the Death March whole, but I was scared cause of the perma death cause I didn't want to cheat... I don't wanna even use modes now because of the struggles with compatibility etc.
Lets talk about the deaths now. Well the bruxa in B&W did no problem for me tbh, I've killed it on 1st try... I was lvl 42 not more for sure. Have used only oil + normal food + queen with alternative mode + trap for slowing time at diff blood & broken bones. My 1st death was while running on foot from Corvo Bianco to the nearest monster nest when I encountered an abyss where I felt... That's how I mostly die by rushing through environment...
My wonders about Death March diff started now, since I get sword from The Lady of The Lake and I wasn't able to stack it's dmg by killing monsters too fast... rofl
Does anybody know if I can stack it on humans too? My swords keep swaping to steel one unfortunatelly. That's why I let biggest band of bandits live in that castle where I turned for Death March.
