Hey guys, I've been experiencing this weird issue since day one where all "cloth" materials in the game just flicker uncontrollably and all over the place! Same thing with the horses, they literally disappear then reappear and flicker like crazy. The various hanging parts of Geralt's clothes do the same thing, and so do the tails on the horses.

Does anyone else have this issue? I've been googling like crazy and I can't seem to find a single other person with this issue. It's driving me crazy! I can't play The Witcher 3 with such a prominent visual bug!

My specs:
Zotac GTX 970
Intel Core i5-3570k
4GB RAM

Playing at 1080p.

Besides this one issue everything seems to be working well! Just this particular issue is really visually distracting and completely immersion breaking.

I think I've had something like this once. In the beginning in Geralt's dream when he was following young Ciri a piece of clothing was hanging in the air for a moment and then disappeared. But that was the only case, I haven't played much tough.
Hmmm has anyone else gotten this issue? One of my big problems with this is I can't determine if it's a game issue, or if it is something on my end.
Maybe some PhysX misbehaviour? I've just seen one person's medallion shaking like crazy, and enemies, killed by Geralt, flying unexplainable long distances. One particular bandit flew above high tree and landed like fifty metres away from his head.

Hmm yes, this was my assumption. I've tried offloading PhysX to the CPU but the issue persists. It's really quite terrible, I've been waiting for this game for 2 years :/

I can relate, but I'm afraid we have to wait till CDPR fix their "child".

Indeed, I suppose so. My problem is, I seem to be the only person with this issue! And it has persisted even after a clean Windows install. So I have a hard time deciding whether this is a game issue or something inherently wrong with my system.

In any case, here is a video demonstrating the bug, if anyone is interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16QqaCOXdC4&feature=youtu.be
As you can see, turning hairworks ON or OFF actually fixes the HORSE flickering issue, but anything else in the game world (such as the horses' tails, or those laces hanging off Geralt's clothes) continue to go insane

I've even had Geralt himself flicker a few times!

Wow, that's weird. I mean, I've seen some shit with HairWorks on, but this is kinda extreme.
Tell me, did you have this problem before patch 1.03? For me most "physics" problems started after it, and I have a lot of flickering (though textrue/lightning related, apparently) when I try to launch game in Crossfire mode. You, however, have one GPU only, so multi-GPU issues are not the case.
Rather stupid question, more of "shaman" nature, but have you tried last "stable", not "optimized" GPU drivers and PhysX package?

I was pretty sure PhysX in TW3 was CPU-only, even you had dedicated PhysX GPU.
I have same physics issue

I am attaching screen for demonstration

Gets pretty annoying and game braking for me :(

wrong game :(
