I tried everything suggested by gog galaxy or any other websites. Nothing is working.
I can play around 10 minutes then it will freeze during combat or during a simple conversation.
Patch 1.03 could't help me.

My GPU: GeForce GTX 770
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 3.40GHz
8,00Gb of RAM
Windows 7 home premium

Does anyone has some suggestions? Does anyone knows when a helpfull patch will be released?

Please help, it's from the day one that I can't play more than 10 minutes, it's really annoying now

What settings are you using to run the game?

TBreaker20: What settings are you using to run the game?
I'm using medium/high definition. The settings optimized by GeForce Experience... But I don't think it's a problem of settings, because also with low quality the game crashes very often..

Just to be sure, you tried switching to a different screen format (if borderless now, try full screen, or vice versa). Just checking! It did help me. I hope it's one thing you hadn't yet tried.

How can i do that? :D
Have you got any tools or gadgets running?
My TW3 stopped crashing after I disabled a mouse tool (it showed on-screen the mouse DPI when changing it, and that made TW3 unstable even though I never changed the DPI, guess it hooks onto the screen no matter what)..
I also remember someone had issues in TW2 with graphics, and it got resolved after he disabled all active Windows gadgets :)

All of those are in your game's Options --> Video settings. Try a different mode. Mine started with Borderless Window, but I switched to Fullscreen. Whatever your setting is, change it and try it.

I checked that... but there's nothing that can interfers with the game... Also it crashes but it not gives me any error... I can turn off the game only with alt+del

Well, it seems everybody has a slightly different manifestation of this problem. I'll add mine to this one for additional data on the issue.

No crashes prior to patch 1.03. Updated NVidia driver 352 installed before game released. No settings changed or modified before or after patch 1.03. Crashing every few minutes now, and when I load up again, the game is set to 'borderless windowed' mode (from Fullscreen).

GTX 980 G1
16GB DDR3
Windows7 x64

They release now the new Nvidia driver, it still doesn't work.... Crashing earlier than before... For me the borderless window or fullscreen doesn't change a thing, it doesn't work in away or another... We are desperate now!

I have the same issue- it crashes within 5 or 10 minutes every time I try to play- except it crashes my whole computer. I cant even stop the process from task manager- I have to hard reboot.
I don't even want to continue to try playing it right now because I'm afraid it's going to break my computer.
This sucks. I'm really disappointed. I've played all the Witcher games and none have had this problem for me before.
With all the hype this game has right now this feels like every game website I go to is lieing because this isn't a 10/10 experience. That implies to me it works out of the box- which it 100% does not. Hell you get a 1/10 just for a game starting up and being playable. This doesn't even qualify for that right now.
Now I know why critics all got XBOXone versions of the game. Consoles may not be the "optimal" way to play this game, but at least it works!

Intel Core i7-2600k CPU @ 3.40 GHz
Win 7 X64
8 gigs of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

And no. No other anything on my computer crashes (I just finished playing Max Payne 3 on Ultra settings this morning with 0 issues for anything in that game).
This game is broken, and completely unplayable.
I'll go play something else, and maybe this game will work by next year when I have time again to play it.

I'm sorry if my post seems angry, but I am kind of angry. I feel I have a right to be. Mostly, though, I'm a sad panda =(

Try these maybe.

Slightly different problem from other users.

I'm below the minimum requirements, but wanted to try it on my laptop before I buy a new system.

Intel Celeron 1.86Ghz
4 gigs Ram
Intel Integrated graphics, probably 4000

Some people have gotten it running on this kind of system on youtube.

For me, when I start Witcher 3 from Galaxy, it goes to a black screen for a few seconds, then comes back with the message:

"WItcher 3 has encountered a problem and will stop running now. Windows will report on why this problem happened...."

Some people say that Intel Integrated graphics relies on direct x 9 while witcher needs direct x 11.

Any ideas for a fix on this, other than buying a nice gaming rig? : )
I've settled with 350.12 drivers and after 2 days of constant troubleshooting and testing I've finally been able to play some Witcher 3.

I reset my CPU and GPU overclocks, turned off EPU power saving and a ton of other things and followed this guide thingy:

http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/36088-A-compendium-of-tweaks-and-fixes-for-the-PC-version?p=1658887#post1658887

V-Sync off, Fullscreen, Hardware Cursor, Prefer maximum performance in NVIDIA CP, force 60fps cutscenes and Max pre-rendered frames set to 1 and Witcher3.exe to High Priority and I haven't gotten a crash yet. (also Hair Works off) Wish it was easier but this is the only thing that's worked for me. I got crashes with the new drivers and even earlier 347's.

are you serious mate? :D
You are running a potatoe, your laptop should be far from being able to run the witcher 2.
there is no fix for this, because there is no problem/bug.
You simply need a better gear.

by the way to play this game you don't need a very expensive or high end hardware at all.
I mean just look at the consoles, they have rather outdated hardware, and they are actually rather cheap too, so go for a console if you are short on money, although i personally couldn't play games on a gamepad.
