I have just installed the game again on a new gaming pc and it keeps crashing on me every 5-10 minutes. I used it before on another pc - also rather new but not a gaming pc and then it was not as often a problem.

I tried reinstalling the game but no change. What to do?
Im installing it, fingers crossed it works for me. Cyberpunk did at least.
I have the same problem and found possible solution.... I am just trying to roll back to 4.01:
go to manage installation and deselect auto update... then choose 4.01. Good luck

Are you using a 40 series RTX with DLSS 3 Frame Generation? There's a current known issue on v4.02 where these are constantly crashing.

If you are, submit a crash report to CDPR and wait for a hotfix. You can roll back to 4.01 but the performance is worse due to worse CPU scheduling prior to 4.02

This crashing problem is only with the combination of DLSS3 and RT ultra. If you disable one of these it will run correctly. Hope the hotfix will be released soon.

Interesting. I'll try reinstalling 4.02 when I get time, drop the Ray Tracing quality a notch and see what happens. Either way, I raised a support ticket and it's on the CDPR investigation list.

Let's hope they get it sorted soon; DLSS 3 Frame Generation really saves Ray Tracing in Witcher 3; it's a great technology that's only going to get better over time.
