Is there any way to completely disable dismemberment? I am disappointed that the developers did not include it in the options (should have been pretty easy).
So is there a hidden config file or do you know of any mod that provides this? I'm sorry but for me the fights are no fun this way.

Hello! I have no knowledge of programming (I know very little) but I checked other mods that do exactly the opposite from what you want, and came up with this mod. Give it a try and tell me if it works: It should disable every form of dismemberment. If it doesn't, please let me know.

Here is the link:

Remember, you have to create a folder name "Mods" in your game's directory, and unzip the .rar there.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Ironically I spent the afternoon doing excactly the same thing. I changed every function handling dismemberment and finishers to start with return false. So far it seems to work.

So I hope you did not spent as much time as I needed to. You can view my version here (works with patch 1.8):

There is another mod that turn off all gore, but I want to disable dismember only.

I'm not afraid of gore, I'm just tired of the game artist bukkake on my face with redundant animation.

Damn, I deleted that file a loooong time ago. I'm sorry bro. But hey, if you reeaaally want to disable dismemberment, you can do what I did. Download one of those mods that increase chances of dismemberment, edit the file, and look for the parts where the dismemberment chances are. You set them to 0, and voila.
