you're a fool...they cant get parrying to work, balance strong attack, crossbow, get quests to stop being buggy, get a good loot system that doesnt make all loot worthless in the game...get something like achievements thats been around since the early 2000's to work right...their programmers coders are fresh noobs out of college that can take a beautiful unreal engine and bug the crap out of it and add a shoddy combat system with a decent story...that is all..your perception is flawed and this game is only a 6/10....get real. go roll/quick attack some more with 1 shot of tier 1 magic..because you know tier 4 magic doesnt work...you know why? the programmers dont know wtf they're doing!

Well that's new. I'll go tell my boss, he's gonna be thrilled.

Programmer develops new features, like new engine capabilities, editors, crap like that.
Scripters use the tools made by programmers / bought to write scripts like triggers when player does certain action, stuff like that. It's far more complicated and there's actually a good amount of subtypes of scripters, but I digress.
Designers ... Well, design things, tell others how are they going to look like when finalized, compile design documents

From my experience, one person can do all three jobs, and usually, nobody is strictly a designer, scripter or programmer, but instead fulfill more roles (not necessarily out of these three). Which doesn't change the fact that they're three distinct roles.

you're doing an even worse job at it tho....saving money on this game is ruining their name and fuure sales...watch and learn...i for one wont be buying any expansions and/or future games from this horrible devleopment team...well maybe a year or 2 after the fact when the price has been cut to a 1/3 retail and its been more balanced/bugs have been worked out...doubt i'll be alone after this horrible launch....troll back when you get around to it...i'll be around.

I don't comment on the forum too often, but I seem to remember there being fewer instances of trolling a few years back. I like having DRM free copies of newer games, but I'm not a fan of some of the types that come with them. The Witcher 3 is a great game, one of my favorites in years. It isn't perfect, I had a couple CTDs while playing, but the overall feel of the game surpasses any big budget RPG of the last few years. Too bad about the Trollolos.
