I have a problem where I cannot kill Caranthir. He is not losing any life when hit. I had also case when enemies just stayed without moving, lose life bar but couldn't be killed.

I'm so mad i've installed patch to 1.20 in the first place.

Rigth now I'm on 1.22. I've even reinstalled whole game, but it didn't help. Verify/Repair didn't either.

I've no extensions/mods installed.

Edit: Sorry, I mis-read. You have verified/repaired, so you are using Galaxy. It still looks like a faulty installation though.

But does it make sense to just reinstall it, or I should make some additional steps in that process?

You could try verifying a couple of times, but to be honest you may be better off uninstalling and reinstalling. Unfortunately I don't use Galaxy, so I can't be of much real help there, since I don't know how it operates fully.
