I've spent my week trying to update to 1.07 (and as I live in New Zealand, our internet is piss poor) And I've had a hell of a time trying to get the whole fully installed.

Upon reaching 100%, the game says it has 1mb left to download, but the network speed is 0.0mb/s. I exited out of GOG Galaxy and restarted it, and upon restarting the patch resumes from 56%. This was where it resumed the morning before.

I ended up aborting the whole patch and redownload. So unfortunately for me, I've had to restart it again from 0%.
Furthermore, I tried downloading from the website and I receive the "Please insert disk 1" or the "patcher_witcher3_1.01-1.07_2.0.0.34.bin can not be located" error. And I have not the slightest idea how to fix this.

So now I'm playing on 1.06 for now until I can figure out or, receive a solution.

It would be much appreciated if I can be provided with any help.

DL manually from Library and manually install.Galaxy is still beta and needs more
time to be developed properly.

Hello I am having a similar problem. I just cannot install 1.07 at all. Says it is not compatible with my version of the game. I just bought the game yesterday.

Did you bought the game on DVD? If yes, you have to install patch 1.02 first.

No i bought it directly from GOG and downloaded it. Also I dont know where to find the 1.02 patch. I searched GOG and searched with google and no good results.

Hmm, if you downloaded it from GOG the version is 1.06. So you don`t need patch 1.02. Are you using Galaxy or not? Do you have enough space on drive C (at least about 7,5GB)?

No I dont even know what galaxy is. I definitely have enough hard drive space though. Should i be putting the patch files in a speciic folder? Or should i find the galaxy program?

There is no need to use GOG Galaxy. Could you start the game now? You don`t need to put the patch files to a specific folder.

Yeah the game starts up no problem. But I cant access some of the last DLCs (I think 14,15) it says I need the 1.07 patch. And again, it says the patch is not compatible with my version of the game.

Maybe if I uninstall and re install through Galaxy? I went ahead and downloaded Galaxy.

I'm having problems with 1.0.7 as well. I bought the game on release, downloaded it directly from the website (not Galaxy) and kept the game always updated. Today as I went to install patch 1.0.7 installation froze and stoped responding and I had to kill the proccess via task manager. When I went to try it again I received the same version incompatibility message.

I think my files got corrupted somehow during the installer crash and the it can't find my game version anymore, a fresh 1.0.2 installation should fix it i guess, the problem is I can't find a link for previous patches anywhere on GOG.com.

EDIT: Tried launching the game and it's updated to 1.0.7 alright but my keybinds and graphics settings were all set to default. Trying to install the latest DLC still gives me the same version incompatibillity error though.

Perhaps you downloaded the patch with the wrong language?
Yeah you could try using Galaxy of course. As far as I know you could import the game to it. But don`t ask me how because I don`t use it. There is also a verify/repair option behind the more-button. You could try this.

The only solution that helped in most cases like this was a complete re-installation of the game.
Don`t forget to backup your savegames (perhaps there is no need for it but safety first).

Ah, personally I would wait until the next patch. 1.07 introduced more bugs for me than it fixed, including completely breaking any further quests needed for one of the game's major endings.

My main concern with reinstalling is just having to wait so long for the previous updates to install. And as my internet speed is so slow I just don't have the time to wait for 7gb to install currently.
