I have installed witcher 3 onto my computer but when i try to play the game the play button is greyed out and it displays "waiting for release" alongside the more button. Am I missing something - very fustrating

Yes I also installed via DVD 4 disc pack. I had donwnloaded the patch's but was not aware I also needed to activate them to install them. I have done this and now can play the game , smiles all round.

You need to DL and install first set up patch 1.01.

Please update the Galaxy Client (currently version 1.0.5.14) and check if the issue persist. If the automatic update doesn't work please download the installer from here:
https://www.gog.com/galaxy

Thank you Guy, I update the game than restart the GOG and finally Start the game.
