Hi
In 21, November, 2015 i downloaded Witcher 3 using gog. i recently upgraded to SSD hard drive, reinstalled galaxy and now i cannot Re-install the game.

Customer Support is very bad, i realized been waiting 12 hours + so far...... Support please put that game back on my list so i can install again and possibly do it in a rather speedy manner Because its on steam sale? i have recorded the Product key and Date incase something like this ever happened..

Also i was wondering Is there a way i can hook up the old hard drive and retrieve the download from there because i got that gamer's itch to play witcher 3 and from what i am reading going to take the customer support guys take days to contact me?

Thanks

It's the weekend so monday is best bet.You might not have success transferring game as files on registry will not transfer as far as I know.

Why? You haven't said what problems you're having. Nobody can help you unless you do.

its seams pretty clear to me... basically i changed my hard drive because it was old, slow, full to the brim with rubbish. I replaced the hard drive with a new SSD and the PROBLEM is i cant put Witcher 3 on my new Hard drive which i had on gog.

Well it would to you, seeing as you're the one with all the information. Information that nobody else reading this has.

And STILL you haven't said WHY. So I will ask again: why can't you put/install TW3 on your new hard drive? What happens? If you want help, you need to supply details. Nobody here is a mind reader.

You could probably copy the Witcher 3 folder from the old drive to the SSD, use Galaxy's "Scan and Import Folders" function and then use "Verify/Repair..." to create the missing registry keys.

But this:
Support please put that game back on my list so i can install again
makes me think you can't install because the game is no longer in your account. Is that so?

I doubt importing it will work then.

Where did you buy the game? I don't mean download, I mean where did you BUY it? There have been cases of games or keys being bought that were stolen, and in such a case the game would be removed from your account.

its not stolen, im pretty sure i got it from the publisher website (i make sure i buy from legitimate places)... Sureley Gog would have notified me if they beleived that this game was stolen and were going to remove the game.

But yeah i have had no luck using the scan or import files function on the Galaxy App, Tried putting the game where the games would be stored and no luck.

I thought that gog.com was a shop? arent most shops open on the weekend especially global bussinesses?
Thanks for youre help and time for those who have replied. Though the problem has yet to be solved, it has brought some light on the situation.

The publisher, CD Projekt, does not sell it. This site, GOG.com, is the publisher's sister company, and THIS is where the game is officially sold. You don't sound sure of where you bought it. What does that mean?

maybe it wasnt the publisher then.... it was a year back
i duno where i got the game from, most games i play i pay with gift vouchers, mainly on steam.

Then the odds are high that your game key was actually a stolen key. If that is the case, that is why the game is no longer on your account. You need to take this to where you bought the game, and since you don't know where, that leaves you with little option but to appeal to GOG support for help. But be warned that they have no obligation to replace your game.
