RAM actually just 4GB? I suggest you get another stick.

It's definitely a handicap because Windows uses memory for other services. Actually half of it is used. So if you only have 4GB, Windows uses 1-1.5 GB. So there's no leeway for Witcher 3.

Even if you meet the minimum CPU and GPU requirements the game still requires 4GB minimum.

Prices of RAM today are dirt cheap anyways.

Actually minimum RAM is 6GB not 4.

ohhh ok i will definitely look into that thanks!
You need more ram and a dedicated GPU. That CPU should have enough grunt to keep a nice frame rate though.

Up your ram to at least 6GB [I'd recommend 8GB for some future proofing]

You might need a PSU as well to support the new GPU. How many watts is your current PSU?

Edit: If yo plan to stick with that CPU for quite a while I think your best bet would be to just get up to 6GB ram and toss a GTX 750 Ti in there. It would be a pretty cheap upgrade and would really improve your gaming performance. I watched a video of a 750 Ti running TW3 @ 60FPS, I didn't catch the settings, but I'd wager its going to be a mix of med/high @ 1080p. You might even get away without a PSU upgrade going with the 750 Ti, they draw very little power.

I would reccomend at least another 4 megs or more of ram. I've got 16 gigs in mine and I'm running the game maxed with no lags or nothing. Runs great. Cept for getting my ass kicked regularly. LOL
