Really the point is is that it is really awkward if you mom/dad/younger sister walks into the room with people moaning and having sex, versus decapitating monsters. Sex is far more awkward and private and does not need to be seen while violence/gore is something that happens everyday. Falling off your bike and cutting up your knee, falling over on your face, war. Stuff like that happens everyday. This isn't supposed to be a moral debate, rather a way that I can get the censored version.

No, the point is that you're playing the game in a place that's frequented by those you don't want to embarrass -- or yourself. It's only awkward to immature minds. Take a GOOD look at that statement. Are you serious? Sigh! I'm guessing you have raging hormones, ie. you're very young.

Well, the sex is optional, easily skippable, and relatively rare. I don't think you'll have an issue wherein your family members will walk in on a sex scene. However, this may just be a game you'll have to play in a few years, then. At least there will be good sales!

Well, thank you for answering my initial question. Allthough - I had hoped for a more, how can I say it, a more "adult" answer.
Anyway, as it is there is only one answer to your question (that already has been given): no, you will not get a censored version of W3.

But, if I may: get over it, add a few more years and the growth of your seemingly best friend will happen only at the right time, with real people (hopefully).

I'd be curious as well. To be honest, I always found it strange that W3 got a little bit censored generally if you compare it with its E3 demo.

I think that if a game is mature enough to show people being maimed/mingled/cut in half etc. it shouldn't (theoretically) even have a problem with showing a penis entering a vagina. Don't get me wrong, I would not want W3 to be some kind of porn game, but then again sex - when both consent - is a good and pleasurable experience, while torture or killing is not.

Well, W3 is intended for adults and all of the people above should be comfortable (to a certain degree) with sex. If for instance your little sister is not old enough to see naked breasts or buttocks, she is not old enough for W3's violence. While my parents would find sex in a game strange as well (they sort of don't consider games as entertainment for adults), I would just tell them again that some games are intended for adults. (Then again getting a boner, as you have mentioned, in front of your parents is awkward)

I know that Geralt is not "properly" equipped. I've heard the thought about it, but decided against it. I think one reason is that apart from chosing the "right" size for Geralt, it is rather difficult (in terms of screen time) to properly model a more or less flexible penis. Since his genitals are not shown, the went the "Ken" way.

Anyway, if explicit sex scenes are your worry, just don't get into them. They're very easy to identify and even easier to skip past. If seeing naked breasts gives you a boner, well... Your imagination'll show you a lot more than pixels on the screen :-P Besides, out of the 200-something of game, there's only like 2 relatively short scenes with nakkid breasts that you can easily hide by turning the camera/pausing the game. And just don't ... Don't get up from the computer. If you have to, bend forward awkwardly. Or skip the game altogether, your choice :-P

I believe it's "kinda called" a murderboner. People get off on violence.

Then you go with it; you live by what you have. No privacy? No girly magazines; no raunchy films; no games with content you are embarrassed about. Nobody missed anything. It's unreasonable to expect the game to be censored for a few people who find bare flesh embarrassing.

Buy the Japanese version (it has censor), it includes English so it shouldn't be a problem.
