Hi!

So, where can I customize Movement bindings(Move forward, backward, left, right etc)?
I can't find it in a menu :(
I hope I can do it somewhere, or I will be really-really dissapointed in CDPR, who says they are a PC Centric company.

Hope you can help!

Thanks!

It's in the options setting, below the option titled 'controller bindings'. I think it's called key bindings or something similar. Fully customizable!

Good try kid....
No it isn't....
Yeah, there are many settings you can customize, but you still can't bind some keys(Like B for strong attack), and you can't bind MOVEMENT KEYS! -_-
IN 2015!

And yet in 2015 you miss the stickies on top of a forum.
@ JackStillAlive

Movement Keys are bound to WASD and the Cursor Keys (Up, Down, Left, Right) and can't be changed in the Settings.

They can only be changed by manually editing the file, in a text editor.

return the game your not old enough to play it
Eh your both kind of right. You can change the keys to ALMOST what ever you want. Some of the keys are at this time locked to a specific function. B being the beastiary.

You can see the keys that are locked by the 'lock' symbol on the left side. Hopefully they will patch the locked keys out.

No I am pretty sure that he was saying, since you need it spelled out, that people throwing tantrums about something fixable like this are too immature to play this game. People gave you answers and all you did was scream and have a hissy fit.

Editing an .ini us what PC users should be able to do, even in 2015, a PC centric team could expect this from their users, because it's nothing extremely difficult.

I very much disagree with this. Editing text files is something many can do, but I don't think it should ever be expected or necessary to get a game working.

I think Key Binding from within the game should be a given these days. Sadly it isn't. This sort of issue was first around over 20 years ago. With all the advances we have, to expect people to have to edit a text file to change key bindings, I find very wrong.

And it's not that simple. The file has multiple sets of bindings for different in game situations, like boats, horses etc and the way numerous behaviours work are not explained. And some keys/mouse functions cannot be bound, even from the text file.

The game is working fine without any edits in the .ini files.

Movement is mapped by default to WASD and arrow keys, can you tell me why anybody would change these bindings in the first place?

Thread opener was asking for movement buttons, other buttons can be configured ingame.
