That was the most stable version for me.

I'm speaking only about CTD, not in-game bugs.

So far galaxy allow me to choose rollback to 1.06 version.

CTD wise 1.06 & 1.07 are about the same for me (crash every 2.5 - 3 hours), so there isn't any benefit for going back.

You can reinstall and download the 1.05 patch if you want. I have a copy if you need it since it is no longer available through GoG.
