I can't pinpoint exactly when this problem started, but when I change Downloaded Content/ options / enable dlc looks for triss, yen or ciri, it just doesn't work and they keep their original appearance. This bothers me since it also seems to prevent me from changing their looks with mods.

I tried:
1) Deleting my user ini files.
2) Loading older saves.
3) Re-installing the DLC pack with the alt-looks.
4) Disabling all the mods I had installed.

After all these steps I tried re-installing the whole game from files downloaded from GOG Galaxy. I started by installing the base game (1.10), then free DLCs, H&S, 1.22 patch, and then B&W. I then used GOG galaxy to scan folders and once the game appeared in GOG, I did a "verify & repair". All seems correctly installed and the game works but just not the alt looks...

Please can someone help? Did I do everything correctly?

I have the feeling that since I finished the main quest, the alternative looks don't work, but that just seems like a coincidence, right?

chrisofriviera: I started by installing the base game (1.10), then free DLCs, H&S, 1.22 patch, and then B&W.
It's very important that you install the correct versions of each, in this order:

Main game (v1.10)
Patch (v.1.22)
Free DLCs pack (v1.22)
H&S (v.1.22)
B&W (v.1.22)

It is equally as important that (before you do that) you remove all mods -- disabling is not good enough when you're troubleshooting. This includes removing any and all added scripts, separate from mods, and the console enabler if present.

Thank you for reply. I tried re-installing the game in the order you said. I start the game with no problems, I have the NG+ option available and I checked in the white orchard if I could buy the temeriam armor and everything is fine. But I still have the same problem. Whatever I do, I can't get the DLC looks of ciri, triss nor yen to work.

EDIT: I just realized that I was using the wrong method to check if the alternative looks worked. Until now, I was using a brothel mod that swaps the characters in my prostitutes with main NPCs. I didn't realize until now that the mod was using a predetermined skin for each character and wouldn't be affected by modding and changing DLCs. I wasted so much time...

Unfortunately, the vast majority of reported 'bugs' in this game are actually caused by two things:
1. Mods
2. Corrupt installations

It's why I *always* advise people who come with complaints to physically remove any mods. Not just disable them, remove them. There is no sure way to troubleshoot unless you do.
