On Skellige, at a ? site, needs to be flipped, so townsfolk can return. However, the Monster nest at theb? site, borks this process up. Devs acknowedge this as a bug. I am trying to find a work around. The nest is a siren nest. Some people have reported fixing bug, by locating and slahing a wYward siren, towards the north. None on my map, that I see. I have tried running around blowing the horn, that makes them fall from sky, to no avail. None appear. Ive meditated on the nest, threw and shot the nest, but nothing seems to produce that misxing siren. Anyone able to help? If I have to resort to an earlier save, Ill just restart, far too much into main story. Thanks. Birdbatsvuba

I don't know if this will help because I don't know if it only includes visible enemies, but there is a console command you could try. WARNING: back up (save) your game first. Go to the area concerned and then open the console and type:

killall

This kills all enemies in the area. You may also fine tune the command with an area radius like so:

killall(100)

This will kill all enemies within 100 yard radius.

Hopefully (never tested it) it will kill any 'hidden' enemies that may get stuck inside the landscape or off map, which does happen.

kill all the sirens. goto the jut and loot all you can find. then go back to the nest, you destroy it. the last siren will start attacking you. kill it and the villagers will return.
I have an even dumber question but.. on PC, how do I open up the console? TYVM. I was looking at map of Skellige, and the POI, point of interest, is a "burned inn." not abandoned inn. The devs claim the ghosts in its cellar are not causing error. Running off, and coming back, does not seem to respawn flying/swimmers, the same as ground pounders. Siren Nest is and has been destroyed, some 100hrs ago. They do not regrow. Villagers wont claim emptied POI. Prolly not a major problem, but like the soldier figureen and Triss, I wanted to see it atleast once. Console commands may just do it. Worth a try. Ill do some googling and see if I can learn how console is opened.

It's very simple to enable the console -- you do NOT need a mod. CLOSE THE GAME. Open Windows Explorer to
<INSTALL LOCATION>..\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base\

In the 'base' folder you will see a load of .ini files. Open up general.ini and make sure you add the console enable line so the entire ini look like this:

[General]
ConfigVersion=2
DBGConsoleOn=true

Save and start the game. Open the console with the tilde (~) key or (¬) key if you have a UK keyboard.
Ruined Inn is POI. Just wont flip for me. I have gotten the console working, and used the killall(200) command. I am now in to expansion sandbox play, at lv72. If you can think of something to try, Ill give it a go. I know how to edit files, just do not know where to look. Thanks
Official unsolved link on cdpr forum, sigh, looks like I am S.O.L.

I encountered this bug as well. Sadly, I'm like 100 hours after I cleared that site, so reloading is not an option. I wish CDPR would fix it, but I'm afraid they won't.
