According to ingame tracker, that's the time I need to complete the game (minus Gwent-related missions, missed some of them). Despite multiple flaws, mostly of ergonomic/technical-related, I'd say those were nice 192 hours, even if was cursing much more profusely than I usually do. /grin

How long it took you to complete the game?:)

I haven't even made it to Skellige yet and I've been playing every single day for 8+ hours since it came out more or less. I can't fully trust the in-game tracker though as I have left the game running while making food or doing chores a few times and last night I fell asleep with the game ALT-TAB'd so there's some number of unknown hours of game time that was not actual gameplay.

Unfortunately today I am unable to get the game to even launch, when I click on start it immediately crashes to desktop before loading. First time that's ever happened. The only thing that changed is that I installed the 2 newest DLC, so perhaps something they've changed has somehow hosed the game from starting up for me. ;o/ I googled around and apparently others are experiencing startup crashes too but none of the scenarios I've found so far match my case which appears completely random. Some folks saying game saves corrupted except I have not tried to load any, others saying video driver problems but I'm using the same drivers since October and the game loaded and worked fine all along, rebooting the computer doesn't change anything etc.

So, I'm basically screwed and can't play the game anymore until I figure out why the hell it wont load. I might uninstall it and wipe the directory then reinstall it WITHOUT the 2 new DLC as that's the only thing that changed since it worked.

Yo m8 I had the same issue, tell me if this is what you are experiencing, please:

- The game will go into app bar (minimized not tray) you still can see the game kinda running, but can't put in on "main window" and play, only fix is to close the process via task manager.

If something similar is what are preventing you from play the game, try to delete your user.setting (.../Documents/witcher 3/... and restart the game),I had the same issue while switching from borderless to fullscreen ... latest patch fixed that,at least for me xD.

Let me know if that was helpful.

I needed 170 hours. But I skipped many "?" in Skellige. I am now on my second, modded, playthrough.
mine says 8 days and 14 hrs something and I haven't even completed all the side quests yet. My character level is 35.

Wow, I barely reached Keira Metz and begun the first quest with her... And I'm not sure how many hours but I estimate 30ish.

I've had issues with the latest dlc content as well. My game would weirdly stretch beyond my screen if I try to increase the resolution after launching it and for some weird reason the screen shot I capture shows it is the same as the resolution the game launched at. what ever that is. I have a very slow PC and I change resolutions when ever I have the performance and vice versa but this is killing me :(
110 hours to finish main quests and most secondary quests.
Have some witcher contracts left and left most of the "?" in Skellige untouched. I am slowly clearing the entire map now.
I can see another 20 hours or so left before I try a different W2 save file and start again.

I am going on 115hrs 45mins with only 21% of game done and haven't gone to get Umma for Kaer Moren yet.

Ingame tracker is known to give goofy data - one day it told me I've been playing 4 days 6 hours, next day it told me I've been playing 7 days 16 hours. LOL, some new math it is. :) But generally after reboot it resets to normal, believable data, and I think data given to me is correct one.
I also alt-tabbed a lot, especially in first days after release, but I think game counts only time you've been actually playing, not staying in menu. Could be wrong though.
As for your inability to launch game, we are in same boat, mate, I haven't installed anything new, but couldn't run game yesterday. I tried to install new stuff, but to same result. So I have no idea what's the difference between romanced Yen, and not romanced one. So far very little, as it seems. :D
But try to get to Skellige - as much as I like our Eastern Europe landscapes, Skellige is just better. I wonder if Nordic countries sponsored CDPR for making Skellige better looking. :D

I think around 80 of those "?" on Skellige are just smuggler's caches and spoils of war with rubbush-grade loot. I clean-picked them all (by the Emperor, I HATE sirens), but found very few good items. In this aspect, Velen's treasures may be fewer, but loot there was far better for me. So if anyone wonders, skip those, it's unlikely you'll find something decent. Land-based question-marks could contain something good, picked nice Freya Warriors suit - light, yet with good protection. Zirael is still better, of course.
69 hours (according to galaxy) in 2 weeks to beat main quest + all side quests/contracts (except gwent - i didn' like it) that are not started by visiting some "?". Wasn't skipping any dialogues or cutscenes of course. As a polish fan of Sapkowski's world I must say I'm amazed. Finished main campaign today and I'm still thinking about the final scenes. No spoilers though :)

Guys, you really have some stamina... I can't stay in front of the monitor for more than 4-5 hour a day XD

Nephilim88: Guys, you really have some stamina... I can't stay in front of the monitor for more than 4-5 hour a day XD
We are the few, the proud, the day 1 gamers. :D
Stamina is when you with your colleagues bring your hiking or army folding bunks to workplace to have short naps there, as you work for 20+ hours a day in a crunch, and since you're not gamedev, you cant' really shift "release date". Doing that for several days, or even weeks in row takes stamina. Playing Witcher is not. Playing Witcher requires patience, godly amount of patience, because ROACH, WHY THE HELL YOU STOPPED ON FLAT ROAD? GERALT, WHO ASKED YOU TO ROLL FROM THE CLIFF? TURN YOUR FACE TO THAT DAMN CRATE, STOP PLAYING WITH TORCH! DANDELION, SHUT UP! /grin
Wow, level 35? Shit, I'm only level 18 at the moment and I'd bet only about half done the game in terms of what I have left to do on the Novigrad/Velen map and what I predict the Skellige map will add. I probably could do it faster if I wasn't so curious and if I used Fast Travel more often. I find Fast Travel to be immersion breaking though so I use it only sparingly when I feel it would be too tedious to ride all the way across a map for a long time.
Prolly 180hrs+ so far and still have things to do. lvl 44 and it's so slow to level now.
