Until I melt my GTX 580 .... it says it will run so yay but what to do should I OC it 30% or 50% ...100Mhz OC = 200Mhz gain in real reams due to the set of of the memeroy on this GPU.

Rest of the specs are happy days i5 2500k OC @4.7 GHZ, 8 GB DDR3 at 1866 MHz so yeah melty melt that GPU ;)

If i can get a stable frame rate then i'll be happy if not i'm going to use the 580 as a dedicated PhysX card as PhysX works of Cuda performance and the 580 is better then a 780 in that department.

But do I really need a 980 I'm waiting to see how peoples 970's handle the game maxed out at 1080p I mean if you get 53 ish FPS which you should as the 970 is only 12-15% weaker then a 980...then optimissing the game will bring that to 60 FPS pretty damn soon i think.

Ah the waiting game so much fun... 13 hours 50 mins to go now ;)

Todays to do list clean my PC check all bios settings and retune my VCore to go back to 4.7GHz 1.25-1.35 Volts should be fine hell if i have to i'd go to 1.45 but no higher then 1.5v lol Find a stable OC setting for my GTX potato even if its old now it's still a beast lol.

They say it's only CPU PhysX for TW3.
Well if PhysX is done Via CPU then a i5 2500k OC @4.7 Ghz will be just fine ;) That will free up any GPU to run the other graphics elements.

I've got i5-2500k, but no OC. Is there a safe way to OC it up to at least 4 Ghz without touching voltage.

Not really sure I was at 4.7 Ghz with 1.420v Volts but now as the CPU has aged its a littler more power hungry I'm still blancing it but the i5 2500k is a beast you can take it up to 1.5v safely as long as the temp is good.

An overclock from 3.7 - 4Ghz wouldn't be much voltage increase if at all i'd set it a 1.20v and it should be fine it's safe upto 1.5v so as long as your not getting any heat problems then 1.20v can take you 4.2Ghz safely.

It depends on the age and ware on the CPU as a CPU ages it tends to need more Voltage to run, a new i5 2500k would be around these voltages for Over Clocking. I also set load line to ultra high or extream depends which is most stablb and phase control to extream.

4.0Ghz 1.150v
4.2Ghz 1.200v
4.4Ghz 1.250v
4.6Ghz 1.300v
4.8Ghz 1.400v

But each CPU and Rig works differently these are really only a guid it all depends on your rig and lots of factors. Any ways i've got to clean out my case and get her ready for later on so i'll leave you to it.

Thanks for the info!
That was a freaking night mare...strip PC to clean it heat shield on RAM was not seated right so I reseat it, clean my rig so it's as good as new put it all back together....

..... power is on no boot no usb no DVI .... reset CMOS ect spend hours checking cables ect and trying to get it too boot recheck GPU, CPU fitting RAM slot cables like 6 times check all Motherboard switches vs the hand book just incase.

About to give up after 3 hour or so then notice a bit of something black hangging down behing my heat sink...get torch ...omfg no way the CPU fans rubber had perished on one side and was intruding into the CPU censor area ..get siscors chop off loose end.

I then put everything back together rest CMOS after checking all leads and slots again, plug in turn out...boots to bios yay set CPU overclocking to 4.7 GHZ set voltage to 1.435V set load line to Extream, set ram to 1600mhz was at 1333mhz 0.o save and reset ....PC resest 5 times in a row wont boot.... get all Rick Grims Awwwwwww wwwww NOOOOOOOOOO.

Turn off PC let MB power down reboot bam PC boots to windows yay ...never cleaning my rig again lol.

7 hours to go ?_?

Galaxy says 16 hours, while Steam says 6 hours.
Galaxy is based on the clock on your computer and your timeline, while the international release hour is roughly in 6 hours.

Wierd, because I saw a list of unlock times and it said 4pm pacific timezone (that would be 6 hours).

If you look at the front page of the store inside of Galaxy, it's showing the correct countdown. It's just the game in your library that is using the wrong time (based off your local clock comparing it to the UTC). Your list is correct, and if you look at the timer on the front page of the store it's correct. The game should be unlocked in 5h45.

Yeah I saw the front page, but also on the games list it says 15 hours. All good was just curious!
