Streets? YOU had streets? We had muddy paths :)
Yes, streets made from the crushed bones of wooly mammoth's that we killed for food and clothing!

Between the trap indicator, Sile yelling, "Use yrden!" and the mongoose potion. I find the difficulty with the Kayran really hard to understand.

The trap indicators aren't necessarily there.

Relative to user skill and character skills/equipment, the Kayran is probably one of the hardest fights in the game. It's far nastier than, say, the finale, where you can win without ever swinging either sword or throwing any weapon at all (at least on normal).
I think most that are complaining because they take the same tact as my Nephew. They want to rush in, whack, whack, whack, Boss gone, move on. With Kayran, as long as you are patient and pay attention to what you are doing, shouldn't be a problem, but you aren't going to rush in and do some whacking , kill him ( or her ) and move on. Takes a bit more finesse than that.
Hardest part of the Kayran is easily knowing where to go after the QTE.

Yeah. I was flying blind at that point and it was just dumb luck that I beat him. : )
