What do you think Witcher 3 will be about? Fight the the Emperor or Wild Hunt, which opens to a new concept, traveling through worlds.

I hope it will be either both or neither, entering something even deeper. For example, the Wild Hunt actually started the whole Hunt thing cuz they got their own enemies.
Definitely fight the emperor. Maybe the emperor IS the wild hunt!
- Choose Triss or Yennefer

- Choose Nilfgaard or the Northern Kingdoms during the war

- Deal with The Wild Hunt

i wonder if The Emperor plays dice..
The emperor cannot be the Wild Hunt for sure, it's pretty clear from the books. Why Geralt would fight the emperor of Nilfgaard? The emperor actually owes Geralt a lot, so it can be a nice twist... Also Geralt shouldn't be a soldier or hired mercenary. Even in the Witcher 2 I thought he was too involved in the events that is not his primary concern.

I want to play dice and fistfight with the emperor, too ! provided that the system of fistfight is much harder. I would feel bad for him otherwise

I think he meant it as a joke

I'm guessing that the Wild Hunt will continue through out the whole series, how ever many that will be. I haven't been to the end of game yet, but judging by how people say the game ends with lots of answered questions, I'm betting any of those questions related to Witcher 2, but not to Geralts past, would be answered in any expansions and complete that storyline.
A war with Nilfgaard will definitely be at the core, I am sure the Wild Hunt will also gain prominence, though it will likely remain a sub-plot (but a larger one this time).

The thing that I am curious to see is how they address all the drastically different ending states you can leave the game in. Rulers can be killed or still alive, there can be whole new kingdoms on the map, the mages council can turn out differently due to your actions, Saskia's fate, etc. the task ahead of CDPR to make that all work... the mind boggles.

Wesker - RE series ultimate evil is dead at RE5 and i always thought he would stay alive through the series as well.

Sometimes the author surprise readers haha
They can't make Geralt fight the emperor directly, that would go too much against the books.

Duny won't appear =)
