They have learned something, that's what it is coming,
It's called post sale support, something that most developers/distributors do not have in their dictionaries.

The new and enhanced re-edition is always a good move. It's good for players, and also it will boost sales. I'm looking forward to it.

Anyone has any real info on it? All we have is a teaser. Of course, I'm delighted to see such a good support from CD Projekt, but I'd love more info, mainly a release date and optionally a list of updates.

The reason why I'd like more the date than the list is because I haven't played the game yet - - even though I pre ordered it (!) -- so if the patch will actually significantly boost the experience, I shall wait.

So, anyone have a decent feature list?

I made the mistake of buying Witcher 2 via Steam initially - but their business practices are frustrating enough that I've been considering buying the game again but through GOG. This announcement makes that even more likely to happen.

Seems like good news.
For now the game runs almost perfect but there are still some bugs and annoyances.
If it is complete overhaul, I welcome it.

And directx 11 is overrated. I yesterday completed crysis 2 without highres-things and all. Then tried those. It's not so different that I would play that again.
